Originally based out of Phoenix, Arizona, Josh Skalniak has been a comedian his entire life.  In fact, at the end of his first grade year he won the award of Best Joke Teller.  It wasn’t until many years later, however, that he would actually take his talent to the stage.  In 2001, at the tender age of 21, and without even a full year of professional comedy under his belt, he had already been declared Funniest Person in the Valley…twice.

Josh attended the Las Vegas Comedy Festival in 2004 in support of  friend and fellow comedian Josh McDermitt, but ended up walking away with the first place trophy in the festival's Wild Card division.

In 2005 he took to the road and toured the Northwest United States to rave reviews.

During the summer of 2006, Josh packed up and moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue his passion alongside the great comedic legends who have been his inspiration.  Although he's only been in L.A. for a few short months, he's already achieved the admiration of booking agents from several heavy-hitting venues and can be seen performing all over the L.A. area, including appearances at the Comedy Store and the Melrose Improv.
